The "Unsung Women of Sussex" initiative celebrates the rich history and diverse contributions of female figures across the region—from historic heroines, suffragettes, and artists to local natural heritage, symbolized by the Round-headed Rampion (the "Pride of Sussex"). Gathering as a warm, welcoming community of women at the Third Moon retreat reminded us of the magic that happens when we step away from our daily routines to connect. By honoring these remarkable local lives through shared stories, singing, and lino printing, we nurtured ourselves and each other. We left feeling truly restored, deeply inspired, and standing just a little bit taller, grounded in a shared sense of place and sisterhood.
