From 10am–3pm, the space hummed with stories of Hastings’ suffragette movement, the rhythm of drumming, music, stalls, singing, crafts, and of course a gloriously grand tea party, with plenty of opportunities to get seditious. Our much-loved “Ask the Teapot” sessions sparked curiosity and conversation, while visitors connected, laughed, and learned more about the growing world of Third Moon Women.

 

The day was open to all, and we were so heartened by the warmth, questions, and shared energy of everyone who joined us. Funds raised from the event will support concessional retreat spaces and mutually chosen causes, helping us continue to build inclusive, nourishing spaces for women and community.

 

Thank you to everyone who came, stirred the pot, and helped make our launch such a spirited and memorable one. This is only the beginning…
